Senior Advanced Analytics Manager - Data Science & Governance (Job ID 4416)
Responsibilities
• Assist Section Head in implementing data and analytics strategy
• Establish and drive artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) models adoption in business decision and operation optimization
• Provide in-depth analysis with advanced customer analytics and big data technology by using internal and external data
• Establish strong relationships with all stakeholders and ensure work is prioritized according to business need and opportunity
• Lead subordinates to solve business problems using broad spectrum of data science modeling and visualization techniques
• Deliver timely and quality analytics to internal stakeholders.
• Discover hidden customer financial and lifestyle needs to support business growth and enhance customer experience.
• Integrate big data technology including AI/ML models into sales and business processes to continuously enhance sales lead quality
• Explore and adopt leading-edge analytical tools and approaches to uplift effectiveness of analytics and modeling
• Use of customer data, including structured and unstructured data, internal and external data, to identify business opportunities to support business and marketing initiatives
• Provide experiment design for marketing campaigns
• Ensure all procedures are in compliance with all policies, rules, guidelines, requirements prescribed by regulators as well as the Bank
• Work closely with business sponsors to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution.
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
Requirements
• University graduate in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Decision Science, Data Science or in relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 8 years working experience in Data Science / Business Analytics from recognized establishments in financial services with the following attributes:
• Strong knowledge on banking data
• Strong knowledge on statistical, data modeling, data science, machine learning and analytics techniques
• Strong knowledge on data preparation (e.g. SQL) and data product development
• Strong knowledge on data visualization using Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Experience of having solved complex analytical problem
• Experience in cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS, etc) is an advantage
• Experience in managing large scale projects is an advantage
• Result oriented and able to deliver under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
