As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients harness the power of data to drive informed business decisions and achieve their strategic objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and providing valuable insights that will directly impact our clients' success.
This is a varied role that will involve a mix of big data and traditional EDW projects and will find you:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis plans.
• Design and execute data analysis projects, employing appropriate tools and methodologies to address specific client objectives.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards while handling sensitive client information.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement data solutions, perform data validation, and support data integration efforts.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a consulting environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese, in both communication and presentation is a must.
