Material Data Analyst (Fabric & Trims)
Our client is looking for a data analyst to support the material team, responsible for collecting, processing and analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies.
Job Duties
The individual in this role will be crucial in interpreting data and transforming it into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
• Data Management: Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources based on business needs.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the Global Procurement (GP) team’s reports and projects, enhancing work efficiency and meeting deadlines.
• Reporting: Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Database Maintenance: Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data accessibility and reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and quality checks.
• Timely Execution: Execute activities promptly and effectively, adhering to deadlines set by the business.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience; knowledge of fabric for reports and projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software; experience with Power Query is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively, logically, and systematically.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, and excellent presentation skills.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated; able to deliver results on time, even in challenging situations.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; capable of managing conflicts and negotiating successfully.
Language Proficiency
• Proficient in both written and oral English and Chinese.
Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Specific Working Conditions
• Frequency of Travel: To be determined based on project requirements.
• Other Conditions: May require regular evening meetings and adaptability to various working conditions.
