Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents in order to promptly detect and respond to potential threats.
• Assist in conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and weaknesses in our systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure network architecture, systems, and applications.
• Take part in incident response activities and provide assistance in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
• Enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Keep abreast of the latest security technologies, trends, and threats to proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in information security.
• Have experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Possess knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
• Possess knowledge of industry regulations and frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO27001, or PCI DSS.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Good to have relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
